Today I wanted to pull back the curtain and share something I've been so excited to talk about...
The Fridge Party branding!
While the magnets may be the stars of the show (Simon we're all looking at you), the branding is what brings the whole world of Fridge Party to life. The colours, the logos, the icons, the personality – every little detail helps tell the story.
And the best part? I didn't do it alone.
The Fridge Party branding was created by my incredibly talented friend Mara, who somehow managed to take the jumble of ideas living in my brain and turn them into something that feels exactly right.
The Brief
When we first started chatting, I knew I wanted Fridge Party to feel playful, joyful and packed with whimsy, without feeling old-school.
I wanted it to feel like the excitement of sticking a gold star on your homework. Like handwritten notes on the fridge. Or your favourite polaroid with someone special. A kitchen full of personality.
Most importantly, I didn't want it to feel overly polished or serious.
Fridge Party exists because I believe everyday spaces deserve a little fun, and I wanted the branding to reflect that.
The Icons
One thing that was really important to me from the beginning was having a suite of playful icons. You might've spotted some strawberries, cakes, balloons, they're fun and playful but also bits you miiiight see in or around the kitchen from time to time.
Not only are they adorable, but they give me so many opportunities to bring personality into everything from social media and packaging through to market signage and future product launches.
The little stars, hearts and playful details help create a whole Fridge Party universe rather than just a logo.
And honestly? I am obsessed. And I really hope you are too!

The Colour Palette
The colours were chosen to feel warm, playful and welcoming.
Soft pinks, rich browns and nostalgic blue and buttery tones feel equally at home on a market stall, a website, a package arriving in the post, or sitting proudly on your fridge.
They're goal was - fun without being childish and colourful without being overwhelming, and I gotta say I think she nailed it!

The Final Reveal
Seeing everything come together for the first time was one of those magical small business moments. I was having coffee with a friend and I got the email and did a weird squeal of excitement.
For months, Fridge Party had existed as sketches, ideas and half-finished magnets scattered across my work bench.
Suddenly it felt real.
The branding captured exactly what I hoped Fridge Party would become: playful, personal, creative and just a little bit whimsical.
I couldn't be more grateful to Mara for helping bring this vision to life.
And honestly? I still get excited every time I see it.
