Every Fridge Party ceramic magnet starts as a lump of clay in my little workspace right here in New Zealand.
Each design is:
- Cut and shaped by hand
- Carefully dried
- Painted with underglaze
- Fired in a kiln
- Finished with a glossy glaze
- Fitted with a strong neodymium magnet
- Quality checked before heading (or waddling) to its new home
It's a much slower process than buying something from a factory - but that's exactly the point.
I love knowing each magnet has been made with care, and that it'll hopefully make someone smile every time they open the fridge.
