Welcome, thanks for joining the party!

It’s safe to say I love all things homewares. After renting for years, it became a fun challenge adding personal touches to my spaces. Things that weren't overly permanent but still felt cute and personal… and I’d say I got pretty good at it if I do say so myself!

Hunting out cute cushions to put on my couch and eye-catching plant pots or candles wasn't too tricky… but when it got to the fridge I found myself in a bit of a pickle. My fridge, like most, took up a reasonable amount of space in my kitchen and it felt like a massive blank canvas. I wanted to add some individuality to it, but I was stuck. I loved the idea of layering different art or special memories on my fridge but I felt like there wasn’t a range of magnets that fit my colour scheme and character that were easily accessible. For years I attached my polaroids and special notes with blutak or tape, but it wasn’t great for the fridge or my belongings - not to mention not very glamorous!

After delving into pottery as a hobby and completing a series of night classes, it finally clicked that I could combine my new-found hobby with this bugbear of mine… and here we are today, because your fridge deserves to be the life of the party (or at the very least, on the invite list!)

I lovingly handcraft each piece right here in Christchurch, then fire them at my local kiln.
